Lisa Hubbard, Harper Creek Community Schools Board of Education Vice President, has been named a 2021 Michigan Political Leadership Program Fellow.
The MPLPF chooses 24 people from around the state to spend 48 hours throughout the year in workshops, discussions, and hands-on training. Their training will focus on leadership, political analysis, and governance. Fellows come from varying backgrounds and experience in public office. They are equally represented by the major political parties.
Mrs. Hubbard was elected to the HCCS Board of Education in 2016 and is Board Certified. She has served on numerous committees throughout her tenure. She is currently on the Joint Task Force for Educational Equity and has been a key player in crafting the HCCS BOE equity goal, along with being on the Personnel and Policy committee.
