Kindness matters everyday. Harper Creek Middle School mathematics teacher, Kayla Whitmyer, is the driving force behind Harper Creek's initiative to bring the importance of being kind as a day to celebrate. She designed a Be Kind t-shirt for people to purchase and wear on Monday, November 21, 2022. She hopes that district schools will continue to have days to celebrate kindness and use the shirts as a reminder of the role kindness plays in being part of a community.
